Shawana Timmons

My Name is Shawana Timmons also Known as Mrs. T, I currently live in Wakulla County and have two beautiful children. I’ve been working with children of all ages for about thirteen years. The most recent age group that I have worked with is the four and five year olds. I have been teaching Vpk for Four years now. I currently have a CDA, VPK certification, Director's credential and I’m currently working towards my AS degree in Early Childhood Education. I really enjoy spending time with my children and helping others.

My name is Mary Wagoner. I have worked at Coast Charter School for 3 years. My time here has been split between 2nd grade and VPK. This year I am very excited to announce that I will be full time as a co-teacher in the VPK room.

I currently reside in Crawfordville with my husband. I was born and raised in upstate NY. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I taught at Head Start in both Oneida and Oswego Counties for 15 years. In New York, I also worked with disabled adults for 13 years. I love being outdoors swimming, canoeing, and riding my motorcycle. I also love to knit and sew.

My goal for the year is to encourage your child’s love of learning. We will be working on social skills and fine and large motor skills. Academically I hope to have all children ready for kindergarten by knowing each letter, the sound it makes and several sight words as well as encourage emerging math skills.
