Bus Information

If you need to reach the school regarding a bus issue please call 925-6344 and press option 11. This line will be answered daily until all students are home.

COAST provides bus transportation as a service and is routed to serve our families in the best way possible. Please have a backup plan for transportation to and from school on any given day when we are unable to provide bus service.

Bus Rules

  • Be at your bus stop 10 minutes early

  • Use extreme caution when loading the bus. The stop arm does not guarantee that traffic will stop and will not protect you from oncoming traffic.

  • Please be aware of the "DANGER ZONE" which is a 10 foot area around all four sides of the bus. These are blind spots for the driver and this is where most accidents occur. Be sure that the driver is aware of your approach to the bus.

  • There must be no physical contact among students at any time.

  • No loud voices or noises. The bus driver must be allowed to concentrate on safe driving.

  • Students will NOT be allowed to leave the bus other than at their designated stop unless a note from that student's parent has been signed by the principal.

  • For safety as well as bus cleanliness, no food or drinks are allowed on the bus.

  • Electronics (Mp3 players, iPods, game systems, etc.) are NOT permitted on school buses. Cell phones must be turned off and in backpacks on the bus.

  • Students must exhibit respect for the driver and fellow students 100% of the time!

  • Changes in afternoon transportation must be made in writing before 2:30 PM and only in case of emergencies.
